Project Scope:

Zero Point Energy completed an all-round energy & water efficiency project for Lanseria Country Estate in collaboration with South Africa’s Department of Tourism‘s Green Tourism Incentive Programme (GTIP) and the Industrial Development Corporation.

Zero Point Energy’s scope entailed the design & execution of the following:

◉ 40kWp of rooftop solar PV to power the estate with clean, green renewable energy up to 67 MWhrs per annum

◉ 90 kWhr of centralised Li-On battery storage to facilitate solar energy storage and load shedding protection

◉ 48kW of 3-phase hybrid inverter capacity

◉ 48kWth of heat pump capacity spread across 2300L of hot water storage

◉ Around 1km of LV electrical cable reticulation and upgrade of 16x DB boards across the estate to optimise the electrical infrastructure for all the energy efficiency measures

◉ Low flow water faucets, low-volume flushing & LED lighting retrofits
