  • DC string detail drawings
  • Electrical single-line diagrams of the PV plant up to LV-busbar distribution point
  • Optimal positioning of all electrical equipment, cable routes, DBs, etc
  • Soil resistivity testing (excluded in some instances)
  • Basic Earthing design for the solar PV plant (excluding grid connection earthing)
  • Electrical simulation studies
  • Load flow analysis o Short circuit studies
  • Protection co-ordination studies o Earthing simulation studies
  • Specifications of electrical equipment including: o AC and DC cabling
  • Cable trunking and cable trays
  • Fuses, circuit breakers and isolators
  • AC and DC disconnects and combiner boxes o LV sub and main distribution boards
  • Site visits and assessments
  • Construction engineering support
  • Issuance of digital and hard-copy sets of final design drawing packs
